So excited to be teaching here at Woodridge  Elementary in Special Education! This will be my 10th year here  at Woodridge and  starting my 19th year in education. I truly love teaching and connecting with families and students in this Heights community!  So looking to working with students in the classroom and in small groups with  building on personal connections and work towards growth in academic skills. 

I have lived here in San Antonio since after college. I went to Southwest Texas State University. I grew up just north of Austin in Round Rock, a former Dragon. I am married to Howie, a retired teacher and former Football coach at AHHS. Now, he is a coach  (PE, football, basketball, and golf) at SAA for past 2 years.  We have been married for almost 35 years. 

We have 2 adult children, Megan and Travis. Megan is a Speech Therapist, married and enjoying being a new parent. Max is our 1st grandson and will be a year old in November.  Megan and family live in Richardson, Texas.  Our son Travis is an Alamo Heights graduate, and  is a alumni of Texas A & M University, Gig Em! He  lives here in SA, works  for  IT  company in sales position here in San Antonio, as well as works with Incubator program at AH HS. 

When not teaching, I love to travel, to lake, beach and the mountains! Also love biking, running, hiking and attending sporting events, most recently taken up Pickle ball. Enjoy reading and time with family and friends and and especially time with our grandson Max.
