Maricela Arce, 1st grade Spanish Immersion teacher at Woodridge Elementary, was honored at the May Board Meeting for Powering the Profile and embodying the AHISD Profile of a Learner.

She empowers students to "think critically and creatively."

The Profile of a Learner is a guide that articulates the knowledge, skills, and attributes students will need to pursue individual dreams and positively impact the world upon graduation.
