Teaching-What I can say… It is a wonderful profession.
I have been working with children since my days as a camp counselor. I love the opportunities to inspire the creativity and imagination in the minds of children.
I grew up in Arizona and then attended Trinity University for my undergraduate work in education and a master’s degree in school psychology.
I am beginning my twentieth year at Woodridge teaching fifth grade. As you can tell I enjoy teaching fifth graders. The opportunities to learn from each other are endless. Every year new and exciting challenges present themselves to my students and me. I truly believe in being a life long learner and hope to instill this characteristic in my students.
I have two children, who are products of the Alamo Heights school system. As a parent I know how important school can be in the life a child.
My husband is very supportive of my career and often lends a hand with all my activities.
I enjoy reading, exercising and traveling on family vacations.
I look forward to learning about my new students this year. I know we will have fun learning!
